Le Martinet Rouge, a 3-star campsite in the Cathar region of Aude, welcomes families and friends to a 3-hectare park of oak trees and rocky outcrops, with 16 accommodation units or 47 pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes.

Choose our Safari lodges in the middle of the Rocks. From the campsite, set off on an adventure and visit the treasures of the Cathar region! The medieval city of Carcassonne is just 15 km from the campsite. Visit the emblematic sites of Cathar country in Aude, such as the castles of Lastours or Saissac, Ternes, Puivert or Montségur. Just 15 minutes from the campsite, discover Castelnaudary and its famous cassoulet, go fishing in the Aude’s many fishing spots between lakes and rivers, and take a trip along the Canal du Midi. For hikers and walkers, you’re at the foot of the Montagne Noire, with its breathtaking landscapes!
To recharge your batteries or enhance your well-being, your campsite is located on a real energetic High Place, ideal for meditation, yoga or any other spiritual practice in connection with the earth and nature.

Accommodation at Camping Le Martinet Rouge is spread over 3 hectares of grounds planted with evergreen oaks, so that everyone enjoys plenty of space and privacy! Book a Gîte, a Bungalow, a Mobile-Home or a Chalet, and you’ll enjoy comfortable accommodation close to Carcassonne: a fully-equipped kitchen with adapted crockery, a sitting area, a shower room and from 1 to 3 bedrooms. If you prefer the Glamping experience, opt for the tent Lodge Safari A large 35m2 tent equipped with electricity, crockery, 2 bedrooms with 5 beds, a terrace and no private sanitary facilities, located at the top of the campsite between forest and rocks, for camping as close to nature as possible, without crowding and in total comfort.
Our mobile homes can accommodate from 2 to 6 people, and are all equipped with large covered or semi-covered terraces and garden furniture to make the most of the sunny days in the Aude. Pets are allowed in the rentals (only 1 pet per rental, with supplement).
